The exceptional weather of April 2021

چکیده
April 2021 brought exceptional weather to the British Isles. It was characterised by sunny and unusually dry conditions with minimum temperatures much lower than normal. There drought in many southern areas late snows were a feature, especially north. This paper summarises climate of Ireland, Great Britain Crown Dependencies Guernsey, Jersey Isle Man using data from both official (state-run or state-maintained) stations, supplemented amateur sites, notably those Climatological Observers Link. The early spring affected growth crops this is also briefly discussed.
